Congratulations on taking the first step towards a better future!

Please take the time to read the following before you start your search for financial aid...

What will this guide do for me?

This guide will introduce you to the capital marketplace. There are two main areas in the capital marketplace to search for free money, grants, loans, and scholarships. The first is through the government. This guide will connect you to information on over $300 billion in government grants alone. On top of the free government money given away there are a wide range of loans given away every year. Over $1 trillion as a matter of fact! Some of this money is given away to certain organizations/institutions that are operating specifically to help people like you! Some of these more popular organizations include Women's Business Centers and Small Business Investment Companies which you can find in the table of contents up above. Other parts of these funds are passed on to you to use for specified use only. The other main area of the capital marketplace is the private sector. The private sector consists of private foundations which are a combination of non profit organizations, charities, venture capital firms, angel investor networks, and corporations. There is literally something for everyone. Get ready to learn what the capital marketplace has to offer you!

Getting started...

*The following information is critical to understanding how you can receive government assistance.

Federal money is usually not given away directly to the beneficiary who needs it. This would require a much bigger federal government. Instead, the money is usually sent to a third party (also known as the applicant) before it reaches the actual beneficiary. Applicants can include non-profit organizations, educational institutions, business centers, investment companies, etc. We do not list all these third parties. There are over 100,000 of them! Instead, we list the contact information on all federal funding agencies that work with these third parties. This way, when you find a federal program within our guide which you are eligible for, but you don't know which third party (applicant) you should contact to have apply for you, you can simply contact the federal agency and ask them which third party they work with in your area. This will make more sense to you later on.
